John Bonham is the legendary drummer of the Led Zeppelin band, Bonham was one of the most prominent drummers in the rock genre.
Half time shuffle -This is what we will learn today.
It is important to understand that Shuffle Groove is based on Triplets, on the 1 and a. of the triplet. (1ea-2ea-3ea-4ea)
Start by playing the Shuffle on the hi-hat like this:
After you get used to the rhythm, you can add a bass on the 1st and a snare on the 3rd, and that's how you got a basic Half-time Shuffle groove.
